About the Notmare! English patch
This chapter picks up with the protagonist, Mie and Inotsukuda heading for a new survivor camp after getting out of Mikura City. Their route runs through a mist-covered cursed forest.
Notmare! is a Windows RPG by normalmashroom (ブナンナシメジ), released in January 2026. It mixes survival, puzzles and netorare elements, with characters drawn by several illustrators and a range of scenarios for a submissive male lead. It is not voiced.
The English patch comes two ways: an .htpatch file that you apply with HTPatcher, or a zip of already-patched game files that you can copy straight into the game folder. It also includes one translated image with on-screen text. The translation is complete.

I'd rather not use a patcher
The Direct Download zip holds pre-patched game files for one game version. Extract it into the game folder and overwrite. If your version differs, the game may break, so HTPatcher is the safer option.
Uninstall: HTPatcher keeps a backup of the files it changes; restore it from HTPatcher, or reinstall the game files.

FAQ
What does the English patch translate?
The game's dialogue, menus and other in-game text are translated into English.
Should I use the .htpatch or the patched files zip?
Either works. The .htpatch is applied with HTPatcher to your own copy of the game; the patched files zip is already translated and only needs to be copied into the game folder, overwriting the originals.
Are images translated?
The patch includes one translated image with on-screen text; the rest of the translation is in the game's text.
