After being sternly scolded by Nagi for sneaking into the school at night, Mayoshi slinks back home… but for some reason, a few days later, Nagi herself asks him, “I want you to help me with my exorcist work.” —The role given to Mayoshi, who was asked to be an exorcist’s supporter, is to absorb the “fear” and “lust” stirred up by the apparitions, and in doing so share his mental energy with Nagi.
