About the Link Battlers Online English patch

In the near future everyone lives with an AI partner called a Lynx, and the VR battle game Link Battlers Online, where humans and their Lynx fight side by side, has grown into a social phenomenon. Behind its glamorous surface, though, some people want to bend the game to their own ends.

Link Battlers Online is an RPG Maker game for Windows by M-Submissive Exploitation Inst (M男搾取研究所), released in January 2026. It features battle-sex combat and verbal teasing in a VR game setting. It is not voiced.

The English patch comes two ways: an .htpatch file that you apply with HTPatcher, or a zip of already-patched game files that you can copy straight into the game folder. It also includes one translated image with on-screen text. The translation is complete.

This patch won't be automatically selected in the HTPatcher app due to the way the game was bundled. You can however search for it and apply it, we believe it's pretty straight forward.

How to install

  1. 1

    Get HTPatcher

Download HTPatcher from its GitHub releases page and open it.

  2. 2

    Pick this translation

Select this game in HTPatcher's list. Beta and autotranslation builds are not picked automatically: download the .htpatch file from this page and select it manually.

  3. 3

    Patch the game

Point HTPatcher at your game folder and click Apply. It checks your game version and patches only what matches.

Compatibility and troubleshooting

Troubleshooting

I'd rather not use a patcher

The Direct Download zip holds pre-patched game files for one game version. Extract it into the game folder and overwrite. If your version differs, the game may break, so HTPatcher is the safer option.

Uninstall: HTPatcher keeps a backup of the files it changes; restore it from HTPatcher, or reinstall the game files.

FAQ

What does the English patch translate?

+

The game's dialogue, menus and other in-game text are translated into English.

Should I use the .htpatch or the patched files zip?

+

Either works. The .htpatch is applied with HTPatcher to your own copy of the game; the patched files zip is already translated and only needs to be copied into the game folder, overwriting the originals.

Are images translated?

+

The patch includes one translated image with on-screen text; the rest of the translation is in the game's text.
