About the Motto! Haramase! Honoo no Oppai Isekai Oppai Maid Gakuen! English patch

The protagonist loves maids more than anything, visits the maid cafe where his childhood friend Mei works every day, and dreams of one day being a real master. One day his phone screen lights up and he, Mei and her mother Maasa are transported to another world, landing in the bathhouse of an academy that trains maids of many races. The academy's chairwoman asks him to become the master of nine cursed maids who cannot serve anyone else.

Motto! Haramase! Oppai Maid Gakuen! is a fully voiced KiriKiri game by milkfactory (みるくふぁくとりー), released in 2022. It is a long isekai title with more than seven heroines, including elves, vampires and a valkyrie, a nameable protagonist, and a length of about 38 hours according to VNDB.

The English patch translates 42,861 lines of dialogue, narration and choices, including the Append, and redraws 374 interface images such as menus, dialogs, settings, save/load, gallery tabs, episode titles and profile cards. It also raises the name input limit to 10 characters. It installs as a launcher that loads the translation alongside the game, leaving the original archives untouched.

How to install

Make sure the game folder holds the full game, ideally with the Append installed: hmaid.exe, the .xp3 archives, patch@r530.xp3 and patch_append1.xp3.
2
Extract the zip into the game folder, the one that holds hmaid.exe. Nothing is overwritten; it only adds these files.
- hmaid_EN.exe
- KrkrPatch.dll
- KrkrPatch.json
- htpatch_en\
3
From now on start the game with hmaid_EN.exe instead of hmaid.exe.
- hmaid_EN.exe

Troubleshooting

The game is still in Japanese

You started hmaid.exe. Start hmaid_EN.exe instead, and check that hmaid_EN.exe, KrkrPatch.dll, KrkrPatch.json and the htpatch_en folder are all next to hmaid.exe with their original names.

Some text inside pictures is still in Japanese

A few decorative images such as CG captions and art are left as they are.

Antivirus warns about hmaid_EN.exe

The launcher starts the game with a small helper DLL, which some antivirus programs flag. Allow it or add an exception for the game folder.

Uninstall: Delete hmaid_EN.exe, KrkrPatch.dll, KrkrPatch.json and the htpatch_en folder, then start hmaid.exe as before.
